COMPOSITION
1 ml of the drug contains:

Active Ingredients mg/ml
Oxytetracycline (as Dihydrate) 300
Flunixin (as Flunixin Meglumine) 20
Excipients Solvents q.s 1 ml


TARGET SPECIES
Poultry, Horse, Camel, Cow, Goat and Sheep.

INDICATIONS
• DURANIXIN is specifically formulated to provide an initial anti-inflammatory effect for 24-36 hours and sustained anti-bacterial activity for 5-6 days following a single administration.
• For the control and treatment of infectious diseases of Cattle caused by or associated with organisms sensitive to Oxytetracycline, where concurrent analgesic, anti-inflammatory, anti-endotoxic or antipyretic therapy is desired.
• Indicated primarily for the treatment of Bovine Respiratory Disease associated with Mannheimia Haemolytica where an anti-inflammatory and antipyretic effect is required.
• In addition, a wide range of organisms is known to be sensitive in-vitro to Oxytetracycline, including Pasteurella spp, Arcanobacterium Pyogenes, Staphylococcus Aureus and certain Mycoplasmas. The product may therefore be of use in the treatment of disease in Cattle caused by such organisms where an anti-inflammatory and antipyretic effect is required.
• The veterinary medicinal product is especially indicated for the treatment of respiratory disease (particularly that associated with Pasteurella infection) and Acute Mastitis (in conjunction with appropriate therapy).

MODE OF ADMINISTRATION
Deep Intramuscular administration.
o Poultry: 0,5 ml/30 kg body weight or 3 g/1.2 litres of drinking water.
o Horses, Camel: 1 ml/ 20 kg body weight.
o Cows, Goats and Sheep: 1 ml/10 kg body weight.
A maximum of 15 ml for Buffalo, Cow, and 5 ml for Goat, Sheep can be injected at one injection site.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
• Animals must not be slaughtered for human consumption during treatment.
• Not for use in Cattle producing Milk for human consumption.
• Meat and Offal: 35 days.
• Milk: 5 days.
• Where Cows are milked twice daily, milk may be taken for human consumption from the 11th milking following the last treatment.
